Davy joins Govt Mule!
This is from the Slam's US tour with Warren Haynes and the Mule, and the start of what became a tour tradition with Davy getting up to jam during the encore. Danny Louis also joined Back Door Slam onstage during their own set, as did Warren. This clip is the Mule/Davy's rendition of CSNY classic 'Almost Cut My Hair', performed in Geneva NY. ACL success!
We've just been told we came in 3rd on the list of CD sales at this year's Austin City Limits Festival.. this is despite our album 'Roll Away' being over a year old, and puts us ahead of bands like Fleet Foxes, Robert Plant & Alison Kraus and the Raconteurs! We were only beaten by Vampire Weekend and MGMT (which I guess we're OK with... ;) Check the list out here. So a huge THANKYOU to all those who supported us.
